Downspouts

Downspouts are vertical pipes that are used to divert rainwater away from the foundation of a building. Downspouts generally come in rectangular or round shapes.

Your gutter system will perform its best when a proper downspout size is chosen to drain a given roof area. The standard norm for gutters among many in the rain carrying industry is to allow one outlet opening in the gutter for every 100 sq.ft. of roof area being drained. Downspout diameters are sized according to the roof area they drain.
